Job summary

Eye Health America, partnering with Eye Associates and affiliated eye care practices in the Southeast, seeks an ophthalmic technician to support clinicians during patient examinations. Travel between clinic locations may be required, with overtime possible.

The role involves gathering records, performing vision tests, taking measurements, preparing medications, and coordinating patient flow under clinical supervision. Training will be provided, and a valid Driver’s License is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Active and valid Driver’s License is required.
• Two years of work experience in ophthalmic settings and/or Ophthalmic Assistant Certification preferred.
• Adequate training will be provided upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Gather medical records and patient information.
• Take ocular measurements (anatomical and functional).
• Administer or prepare medications.
• Provide eye care and contact lens information to patients.
• Maintain and clean ophthalmic instruments.
• Assist doctors in basic procedures.
