• Measure and record refractive power of lenses.
• Assess and document patient’s best visual acuity with/without correction.
• Perform preliminary external eye exams and document findings clearly.
• Understand refractometry principles and record subjective measurements.
• Safely measure intraocular pressure and recognize abnormal findings.
• Assist with medication administration, transcribe prescriptions, and provide patient information.
