Job summary

ICON Eyecare is seeking a full-time Ophthalmic Technician for our Lone Tree clinic. Training is available. You will prepare patients for medical eye exams, perform preliminary testing, and support documentation and patient history in the EHR.

Responsibilities include completing prior authorizations for medications, assisting doctors, and contributing to a positive patient experience. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for COA/COT certification study support.

Qualifications

• Previous Ophthalmic Technician experience in ophthalmology preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for medical eye exams with the clinician by completing preliminary testing.
• Complete prior authorizations for patient medications.
• Utilize EHR to capture patient history and vision concerns.
• Support patient experiences and clinic missions with professionalism.
• Collaborate with team and patients to provide high-quality eye care.
