Job summary

ICON Eyecare is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for our Lone Tree practice. You will provide direct patient care in a surgical setting, support pre- and post-operative care, and monitor patients’ physiological status throughout the perioperative period.

Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists, maintain airway management and sterile technique, educate patients and families, protect privacy, and help keep equipment and inventory organized in a team-oriented ophthalmology environment.

Qualifications

• RN license in Colorado.
• ACLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• BCLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patient in a surgical setting.
• Address psychosocial, physical, and general care aspects pre-/post-operation.
• Monitor patient status in pre-/postoperative environment.
• Communicate with surgeon and anesthesiologist about patient conditions.
• Demonstrate airway management and use of related equipment.
• Maintain medical/surgical asepsis during treatments and procedures.
• Coordinate patient education for patient and family; protect privacy.
