Kleiman Evangelista Eye Centers of Texas is seeking a full-time Ophthalmic Technician to join our clinic. We are willing to train for the right candidate and provide a supportive team environment in a busy ophthalmology practice in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

Prepare patients for exams, perform preliminary testing, and utilize our EHR system to document histories and vision concerns. Competitive benefits and opportunities for COA/COT certification are available.

Qualifications

• Experience as an ophthalmic technician is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Detail-oriented with focus on patient care and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for medical eye exams by completing preliminary testing with the clinician.
• Complete prior authorizations for patient medications.
• Use the EHR system to capture patient history and vision concerns.
• Create outstanding patient experiences and support the clinic mission.
• Be accountable, solutions oriented, and collaborative with patients and teammates.
