Kleiman Evangelista Eye Centers of Texas is seeking a full-time Ophthalmic Scribe. We offer training and a supportive clinic environment in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

The role involves documenting physician visits, assisting with patient examinations, and supporting procedures while maintaining accurate records in EMR. Ideal candidates have at least one year of ophthalmic scribe experience, EMR proficiency, and strong communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• One year of ophthalmic scribe/technician experience preferred.
• COA/COT certification or ophthalmology knowledge is desired.
• Proficient in EMR and computer literacy; strong communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Document physician notes and documentation in EMR.
• Transcribe history, exam results, impressions, plans and prescriptions.
• Assist with in-office procedures and triage calls.
• Coordinate with check-in/check-out staff for patient flow.
• Assist with e-prescribing and medication management in EMR.
• Measure pupil size and reactivity; obtain relevant tests (fundus/ocular imaging).
