Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience as an ophthalmic scribe.
• Ability to navigate EHR software.
• Working knowledge of ophthalmic terminology, CPT and ICD-10 coding.
• Certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and exam rooms for visits and testing.
• Document patient encounters in real time.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Coordinate testing and surgical needs, ensuring sterile technique.
