Qualifications

• Attention to detail is essential in documenting visits and coding information accurately.
• Candidate should be highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information at all times.
• Understand and follow oral and written instructions; work independently when needed.
• Apply exceptional communication skills to interact with patients and schedule appointments and surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Make introductions and establish rapport with patients, document chief complaints, history, and ocular findings accurately.
• Document medical visits and procedures as performed by the physician and other staff.
• Prepare referral letters and organize copies of relevant reports or tests, coordinating referrals as needed.
• Inform patients about the purpose and impact of tests, provide education on risks and benefits.
• Educate patients on medication administration and pre/post-operative instructions.
• Follow all safety procedures as per guidelines.
