Job summary

The Ophthalmic Scribe position at Nflsurgeons aims to enhance clinic efficiency by supporting physicians, documenting results accurately, and guiding patient interactions. No prior ophthalmology experience is required as training is provided.

Applicants should be able to travel to multiple locations as needed, work in a fast-paced ophthalmology setting, and maintain HIPAA confidentiality. A High School diploma is required; commitment to quality care is essential.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Medical Terminology (ophthalmology preferred).
• Proficient using desktop applications and able to type 40 WPM or greater.
• Excellent organizational and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Increase efficiency and productivity of the physician in the clinic setting.
• Anticipate physician needs and communicate clearly to patients and staff.
• Multi-task effectively to facilitate clinic flow.
