Job summary

Monmouth Retina Consultants is seeking a full-time Patient Coordinator in Toms River, NJ. You will be the first point of contact, handling check-in/out, inquiries, and insurance verification to ensure a smooth patient experience.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel between local offices. Mileage reimbursement is provided for travel between locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service during every patient encounter (in person or via phone).
• Answer phones and emails promptly and courteously.
• Manage patient flow and scheduling to ensure timely visits.
• Verify and collect payments and insurance information.
• Assist with daily reconciliations and cash handling tasks.
• Maintain general office duties as assigned by the manager.
