Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Full-time Ophthalmic Technician that is detailed oriented and customer focused to join our award winning ophthalmology practice. As a valued member of our practice, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional patient care and smooth clinic operations. Some travel between our Monmouth County locations may be required.

We are seeking a dedicated Full-time Ophthalmic Technician that is detailed oriented and customer focused to join our award winning ophthalmology practice. As a valued member of our practice, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional patient care and smooth clinic operations. Some travel between our Monmouth County locations may be required.

Responsibilities
  • Obtain a thorough and concise patient history, including relevant medical, ocular, and family history, to assist in the evaluation and diagnosis of eye conditions.
  • Record visual acuity measurements using standardized testing methods, ensuring precise documentation of patients' visual function for diagnostic and treatment purposes.
  • Perform manifest refractions with precision and efficiency, utilizing specialized equipment and techniques to determine the optimal refractive correction for patients with refractive errors.
  • Conduct intraocular pressure (IOP) measurements using tonometry techniques.
  • Accurately document examination findings, diagnostic test results, and treatment plans as directed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education Requirement

Work Schedule

8:30AM-5:00PM Flexibility is key, with occasional availability required for Saturdays and evenings.
