Job summary

Eye Surgery Center of St. Augustine is hiring an Operating Room Nurse to support perioperative patient care in a fast-paced eye care setting. You will collaborate with physicians and the surgical team to deliver safe, high-quality care in the ambulatory surgery environment.

Ideal candidates are Florida-licensed RNs with current BLS/ACLS and recent surgical experience who can assess, plan, implement, and document patient care while maintaining safety and efficiency in the OR.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Florida.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Current surgical experience (within past 3 years).
• Ability to assess, prioritize, plan, and implement direct patient care.
• Demonstrates coordination and communication with the care team.

Responsibilities

• Follows and completes assignments as given by the Clinical Director and Providers.
• Collaborates with disciplines to develop coordinated outcomes and interventions.
• Circulates surgical procedures for surgeons at the facility.
• Maintains a safe patient care environment.
• Prepares the surgery suite for procedures.
• Follows universal PPE precautions.
• Provides nursing care in perioperative/outpatient settings.
• Monitors patient status and documents care delivered.
