Job summary

Ocala Eye Pa is seeking a skilled registered nurse to provide planned, skilled nursing care for patients in the critical preoperative and postoperative periods. You will monitor patients continuously to recognize and respond to complications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe perioperative care.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, active state licensure, and CPR/ACLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Current state licensure required.
• CPR/ACLS certification required.
• Experience in postoperative or critical care area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the perioperative process as part of the team.
• Contribute to patient safety and quality management initiatives.
• Communicate with patients, families, physicians and staff effectively.
• Document pertinent patient information and reports.
• Assist in admission and discharge processes in a safe, timely manner.
• Follow safety policies and maintain a clean, organized perioperative area.
