Qualifications

• HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Ability to obtain vital signs, collect patient histories, and document in the EMR.
• Flexibility to travel ~20% to other UPMC Vision Institute locations.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain medical histories and vital signs.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain infection control between patient visits.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
• Document information in the electronic medical record and assist providers with clinical duties.
• Assist with phlebotomy, EKGs, and level one labs as needed.
• Travel to other UPMC Vision Institute locations ~20% of the time.
