Job summary

Qualifications

• Applicants will be placed in the Ophthalmic Technician/ Imaging Career Ladder based on experience and education.
• Perform ophthalmic testing and diagnostic procedures as part of a fast-paced specialty practice.
• Assist ophthalmologists and clinical staff with patient examinations and documentation.

Responsibilities

• History taking including ocular, medical, medication, social and family questions.
• Visual acuity assessment with and without correction, mapping testing as required.
• Assist with tonometry, refractometry, lensometry, and dilation procedures.
• Maintain office inventory, restock exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and clean patient areas.
