Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Field Reimbursement Specialist to manage defined accounts in the ophthalmic space across a multi-state geography. You will execute territory plans with payers, clinics, and HUB services, guiding reimbursement from prior authorization through denials, and resolving patient-level issues with PHI access.

Travel up to 50% is required. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years in public/private payer access, plus 2+ years in reimbursement or managed care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years in public/private third-party access or pharmaceutical managed care
• 2+ years of access and reimbursement, managed care, billing or coding support
• Experience with Buy and Bill products and full reimbursement process from script to injection
• Ophthalmic/reimbursement experience preferred and ability to travel 50%+

Responsibilities

• Act as extension of product providing live one-on-one coverage support
• Assist from physician order to reimbursement through prior authorization to denials
• Review patient-specific information to resolve coverage issues
• Review insurance benefit options and identify financial assistance programs
• Coordinate with patient support services representatives
• Educate office staff on reimbursement programs and provider portals
