EAST FLORIDA EYE INSTITUTE in Stuart, FL is seeking a Diagnostic Tester to join our ophthalmic team. You will perform a variety of diagnostic tests and assist the ophthalmologist in delivering exceptional eye care.

In this full-time, in-person role, you will operate diagnostic equipment, document results, and prepare patients for exams while delivering friendly, patient-centered service. A HS diploma is required and EMR experience is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ophthalmology experience preferred.
• Familiarity with ophthalmic terminology and procedures is beneficial.
• Proficient computer skills and EMR experience preferred.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage patients.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Positive attitude and commitment to patient care.

Aufgaben

• Conduct ophthalmic diagnostic tests (e.g., visual field, OCT, B-scan, fundus photography).
• Operate and maintain ophthalmic equipment and ensure proper function.
• Accurately document test results in the patient chart.
• Prepare patients for tests and explain procedures clearly to ease anxiety.
• Provide exceptional patient service and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures.
