Qualifications

• OA1: 0–2 years ophthalmic assistant experience.
• OAII: 2+ years ophthalmic assistant experience.

Responsibilities

• Review patient charts for completeness and accuracy.
• Record ocular and systemic history and visual acuity.
• Perform tests such as OCT, visual fields, photography, pachymetry, and biometry.
• Assist with scribe duties and documentation in EMR or paper charts.
• Administer topical ophthalmic or oral medications.
• Maintain exam room cleanliness and patient safety per protocols.
