Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High School Graduate or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 0-2 years ophthalmic assistant experience (OA1).
• OAII: 2+ years ophthalmic assistant experience.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient charts for completeness and accuracy.
• Takes ocular and systemic history; records visual acuity.
• Performs tests such as OCT, visual fields, photography, pachymetry, biometry.
