Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in Ophthalmology or Optometry preferred.
• Experience assisting in ophthalmic testing and patient flow is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and perform patient intake and collect vision history.
• Document medical/surgical history, chief complaint, HPI, vital signs, medications, and allergies in the EHR.
• Perform comprehensive ophthalmic workups and assist with exams and in‑office procedures.
• Assist with tests such as OCT, visual fields, topography, and biometry.
• Serve as a scribe when needed and ensure accurate documentation.
• Schedule appointments, manage work queues, and restock exam rooms.
