Position Overview

We are looking for a full-time Ophthalmic Technician or Assistant to play a vital role in our clinical operations, supporting our ophthalmologists in delivering top-tier patient care. This position is for weekdays only, with no evening or weekend hours required.

Responsibilities

• Medical Scribing: Accurately document patient visits and clinical outcomes, ensuring thorough and precise medical records.
• Patient History Taking: Gather and record detailed patient histories, essential for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Diagnostic Testing: Perform a range of diagnostic tests including autorefraction, lensometry, visual acuity assessments, and intraocular pressure measurements.
• Advanced Imaging: Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment, such as OCT, slit-lamp cameras, and fundus photography devices, for comprehensive eye exams.
• Patient Interaction: Provide clear and compassionate communication to patients, explaining their eye conditions and treatment plans to ensure they feel informed and supported.
• Clinical Support: Maintain a well-organized and efficient clinic environment, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and ready for use.

Qualifications
