Job summary

Skyborn Renewables is seeking an O&M Engineer OPEX to join our team in Hamburg or Bremen. This role leads annual OPEX budgeting, enhances modelling tools, and supports cost analysis and forecasting across offshore wind projects.

You will collaborate with engineering, procurement and project teams to drive efficient OPEX delivery and provide robust cost inputs for new development, while monitoring portfolio performance and cost drivers.

Qualifications

Relevant academic background in engineering, renewable energy, finance, project management, or a related discipline.
5+ years’ experience in OPEX planning or financial modelling, ideally within renewable energy; offshore wind exposure is a plus.
Strong understanding of O&M delivery and OPEX cost planning, including budgeting and forecasting.
Analytical and commercial mindset within asset-intensive environments.
Desirable knowledge of offshore wind systems (electrical/mechanical/control).

Responsibilities

Lead and manage annual OPEX budgeting for offshore wind farm projects.
Own and enhance OPEX modelling tools, including planning, forecasting and cost analysis.
Model operational logistics and technical performance to support availability and O&M execution.
Monitor, analyse and optimise OPEX performance across the portfolio.
Provide robust cost inputs to support new project development.
Partner with engineering, procurement, and project teams and senior stakeholders on budgets and risks.
