Job summary

Workwear Outfitters, based in Nashville, Tennessee, is seeking a Special Sew Operator to sew garments per specifications and verify logos, stripes, pockets, and options. This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

First shift 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with possible overtime and Saturday work. Join a large employer with a broad portfolio including Red Kap and Dickies licenses.

Qualifications

• Sewing experience preferred.
• Must observe attendance policy.
• Good attention to detail.
• Read, write and speak English.
• Able to read option codes on worksheets.
• Able to sit for 8 hours and work OT when necessary.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Basic math for measuring and marking.

Responsibilities

• Measure, mark, and sew garments according to specifications.
• Check logo placements, striping, pockets, and options on garments.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and take pride in Workwear.

What You Will Do as a Special Sew Operator:

• Measure, mark, and sew garments according to specifications.
• Check logo placements, striping, pockets, and any other additional options on garments.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment that shows pride in Workwear and is worth sharing with visitors.

HOURS: 1st shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Some daily overtime and work on Saturdays may be required.
