Job summary

Workwear Outfitters in Nashville, TN is seeking a Special Sew Operator to support production of durable work garments on first shift. You will measure, mark, and sew according to specs, check logo placements, and help maintain a clean, safe work area. HOURS: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday; some overtime and Saturdays may be required.

Experience in sewing and attention to detail are essential. English reading/writing is required and teamwork is expected in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• Sewing experience preferred.
• Must observe the attendance policy.
• Good attention to detail.
• Read, write and speak English.
• Read option codes on Ready Service Worksheets.
• Able to sit for 8 hours and work OT when necessary.
• Able to work as part of a team with good communication.
• Basic math skills used for measuring and marking garments.

Responsibilities

• Measure, mark, and sew garments according to specifications.
• Check logo placements, striping, pockets, and any other options on garments.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment that reflects pride in Workwear.
• Hours: 1st shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday; some daily overtime and Saturdays may be required.
• Collaborate with team to ensure production flow and minimize errors.
