Job summary

InterCon Construction is hiring an equipment operator in Marinette, Wisconsin to support heavy machinery tasks and underground utility locating.

You will follow safety procedures, review blueprints, operate machines such as backhoes and tractors, and assist with laborer duties. Willingness to travel and a valid CDL Class A are required; physical demands include lifting 20+ pounds and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Class A CDL driver's license required.
• Must be willing to travel.
• Ability to bend/kneel/stand/walk for long periods and lift 20+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures while operating heavy machinery.
• Locate underground utilities before starting work.
• Review blueprints to determine work requirements.
• Operate equipment to place and remove dirt and debris.
• Assist with Laborer tasks as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Locate underground utility services, such as pipes or wires, prior to beginning work. Review blueprints or specifications to determine work requirements. Utilize different machines for placement and removal of dirt/debris. Use machinery to guide and install pipe and cable. Perform routine maintenance of equipment. Assist with Laborer jobs as needed.
