Job summary

Ranger Energy Services is seeking a Mixing Plant Operator to ensure safe operation of mixing plant equipment and related systems at Midland, TX. The role includes running coil tubing and stick pipe drill outs, performing preventive maintenance, and adhering to fluid compatibility standards.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of relevant experience, familiarity with fluid chemistries, and the ability to pass pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience running mixing plant, coil tubing and stick pipe drill outs.
• Demonstrate knowledge of fluid and chemical compatibilities.
• Pass pre-employment screening and job-relevant hiring requirements.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain mixing plant equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and keep maintenance records.
• Safely operate pumps for liquid transfer.
• Maintain and record tank fluid levels.
• Rig up/down mixing plant on coil tubing or stick pipe units.
• Mix chemicals to control downhole pressures.
• Communicate with on-site crews to use correct chemical quantities.
• Follow AWS HSE policies and wear PPE at all times.

Responsibilities

AMixing Plant Operatorisaccountableforthe safe operation of assigned mixing plant equipment. The Mixing PlantOperator will also be responsible for running mixing plant coil tubing and stick pipe drill outs anda completeunderstanding offluids and chemicals compatibilities.

• Service andmaintain mixing plant equipment
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipmentand maintain appropriatemaintenance records
• Safely operate pumps for the transfer of liquid
• Maintain and recordaccurate tankfluid levels
• Safely rig up and rig down fluid mixing plant on coil tubing unit, stick pipe drillouts or workover locations
• Safely rig upmixing plant to reverse pumps for stick pipe units, coil tubing pump trucks
• Mix chemicals to control downhole pressures
• Communicate withappropriate on-sitecrewsand/or company representativeto use correct chemical quantitiesbased on well conditions
• Safelyrig up and rig downequipment used formixing plant operations
• Follows and supports all AWS HSE policies, procedures and best practices
• Knows and uses appropriate PPE at all times
• Drives company vehicles overvarious typesof road conditions and terrain, including highways, rural roads including paved and gravel surfaces, andoff roadsituations including two track roads

Experience / Qualifications

• Performs other duties as assigned bysupervisor/management

• Demonstrate knowledge of fluid and chemical compatibilities,required
• Prior experience working with computer based workorder system, preferred
• Prior experience with KPA, preferred

• Maintain valid driver’s licenseand ability to pass MVR,required
• Class A (CDL), preferred
• Ability to communicate, read & write in English,required
• Able to multi-task in fast paced environment
• Mobility, including entering confined spaces, enter areasby the use ofladders or other access device up to 15 feet
• Demonstrates ability to communicate respectfully and effectively with customers, visitors, vendors, and other employees
• Experience working rotational shift work, working in inclement weather, and/or manual labor experience, preferred
• Ability to clear/pass pre-employment screening, testing and job-relevant hiring requirements,required

Physical Conditions

• Proof of eligibility to work in theUnitedStates, as required by law,required
• Ableto stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds on routine basis
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, and color vision
• Able to deal with wet and/or humid conditions and extreme heat/cold
• Work environment may include moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic chemicals, airborne particles and moderate to loud noise, requiring consistent use ofappropriate PPE
