This is a 2nd shift position working Monday - Friday from 2:30pm to 11:00pm, at our Chicago, IL 60638.

Salary: $25/hour

What you bring:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a factory setting, operating automation machinery.
  • Experience using HMI systems.
  • Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude and effective communication skills across all levels.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours, lift 50 lbs, and work overtime when needed.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Proficiency with computers and electronic measuring devices for quality checks.
  • Ability to run products efficiently while adhering to safety and quality standards.
  • Complete 5S tasks throughout the plant.
  • Eager to learn and expand knowledge on machine operation.
  • High energy, self-motivated, and a team player.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Understanding of health and safety requirements and safe work practices.
  • Prior experience in machine setup and computer usage.
  • Knowledge of equipment operation and safety procedures.
  • Forklift certification is preferred.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions and processes.
  • Positive attitude.

Essential Functions:

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workplace.
  • Report deficiencies and irregularities.
  • Collaborate with maintenance to ensure equipment functionality and safety.
  • Communicate issues or production changes to relevant shifts.
  • Plan and execute product changeovers efficiently.
  • Complete shutdown procedures as required.

You will communicate with incoming and outgoing shifts to coordinate issues and raw material availability. You will monitor machines, perform quality checks, and troubleshoot using your computer skills.
