Job description

We are a fast-growing custom print, signage, and apparel business based in the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago. We offer various types of custom apparel, signage, and offset printing to our expanding client base. Recently, we added Embroidery to our services, and we are seeking a candidate who can operate Tajima embroidery machines and help lead and grow our embroidery practice.

Responsibilities:

1. Operate multiple-head Tajima embroidery machines.
2. Perform and prioritize multiple tasks independently or within a team.
3. Monitor the embroidery process to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality output.
4. Assist in creating processes to enhance customer experience.
5. Engage in client interactions as needed.
6. Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications:

• Experience operating multi-head embroidery machines is REQUIRED. This is NOT an entry-level position.
• Experience with Tajima machines is preferred but not mandatory.
• Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in English.
• Reliable commute to the Logan Square neighborhood in Chicago.

Additional Information:

We seek someone who wants to take on a leadership role in our embroidery practice, contribute ideas, and influence the growth of the department and the company as a whole.

This position is primarily full-time, but we are open to part-time candidates if they are the right fit.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, approximately 8am-5pm, with some additional hours as needed. We offer flexibility on shift hours.
