Job Description
Job Summary:
The Production Machine Operator II will safely control various machines and equipment involved in production. The Machine Operator will supervise and lead an assigned team through daily activities to ensure smooth operations and efficient project completion.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Assist with training team members.
- Oversee daily workflow, scheduling, and team assignments.
- Follow production specifications, align with Line Lead’s needs, and adhere to the Production Supervisor's directives.
- Work safely and efficiently to meet product specifications.
- Support the Line Lead by maintaining rate filling, cleaning, sanitizing, packaging, and palletizing of the assigned line.
- Ensure daily compliance with Quality and Safety standards. Participate in productivity improvements, cost reduction, scrap rate management, and minimizing equipment downtime.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Operate production machinery according to prints and specifications, including lathes, grinders, mills, and similar equipment.
- Operate sheeting lines and ovens.
- Familiarity with dough processing.
- Comply with all safety, production, and quality policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Identify and report safety hazards or incidents.
- Participate in daily production activities.
- Follow SOPs and GMPs.
- Maintain professionalism and courtesy in interactions.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide feedback on issues or problems to management.
- Complete production documentation accurately and on time.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized production area.
- Produce parts within specifications and tolerances.
- Measure finished parts with precision tools for quality assurance.
- Inspect equipment before use and perform basic adjustments and maintenance.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum one year of related experience required.
- On-the-job training may substitute for educational requirements.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged standing, tool use, and repetitive actions involving bending and stooping.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Visual acuity for reading instructions, operating machinery, and inspecting parts.
