Job summary

Strongwell is seeking a Production Technician in Minnesota to support metal fabrication operations. You will set up and operate drilling and notching equipment, follow prints from Production Control, and prep parts for GFL, Fabrication or Shipping.

The role requires basic quality checks on drilled bars, data collection for quality control, and flexibility to work overtime as needed. Candidates should be reliable and safety-conscious, adhering to company policies.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the drill.
• Set up and operate the notcher.
• Follow prints and orders from Production Control to determine product specs and prep steps.
• Perform quality checks on drilled bars.
• Compile data to assist quality control and scrap management.
• Work overtime as business needs require.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with Strongwell guidelines and procedures per Employee Handbook.

• Follow prints and orders from Production Control to determine the type of product needed and how it is to be prepared (cut to length, position of holes to be drilled, etc.) before passing on to GFL, Fabrication or Shipping.
• Know how to do quality checks on drilled bars.
• Compile data as trained to assist in quality control and scrap management.
• Work overtime as business needs require.
• Perform other duties as assigned and directed.
• Comply with Strongwell guidelines, rules, and procedures as contained in the Employee Handbook and miscellaneous memos.
