Job summary

Strongwell Corporation in Minnesota is seeking a capable operator to set up and run the drill and the notcher, following production prints to prepare parts for GFL, Fabrication or Shipping.

You will perform quality checks on drilled bars, compile data for QC and scrap management, and participate in overtime as needed while complying with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the drill.
• Set up and operate the notcher.
• Follow prints and orders from Production Control to determine the type of product needed and how it is to be prepared (cut to length, position of holes to be drilled, etc.) before passing on to GFL, Fabrication or Shipping.
• Know how to do quality checks on drilled bars.
• Compile data as trained to assist in quality control and scrap management.
• Work overtime as business needs require.
• Perform other duties as assigned and directed.
• Comply with Strongwell guidelines, rules, and procedures as contained in the Employee Handbook and miscellaneous memos.
