Job summary

Strongwell in Minnesota is seeking a production operator to set up and operate the drill and notcher, follow prints and orders, and prepare parts for GFL, Fabrication or Shipping. You will also verify dimensions and ensure first-pass quality on drilled bars.

Employees are expected to work overtime as business needs require, perform other assigned duties, and comply with company guidelines, safety rules, and the Employee Handbook as directed by supervision.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the drill.
• Set up and operate the notcher.
• Follow prints and orders from Production Control to determine the type of product and preparation for production or shipping.
• Perform quality checks on drilled bars.
• Compile data to assist in quality control and scrap management.
• Work overtime as business needs require.
• Perform other duties as assigned and directed.
• Comply with Strongwell guidelines, rules, and procedures as contained in the Employee Handbook and memos.

• Perform other duties as assigned and directed.
• Comply with Strongwell guidelines, rules, and procedures as contained in the Employee Handbook and miscellaneous memos.
