Position Summary:

Responsible for the successful completion of hydro excavation projects including utility line exposure, debris removal, slot trenching, and digging.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Qualifications:

• Work outdoors, potentially in extreme climates.
• Operate hydrovac trucks and equipment safely and professionally, ensuring all equipment is in good condition.
• Perform pre- and post-inspections and routine maintenance.
• Ability to sit, lift, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach, and crawl repeatedly.
• Capable of working extended hours and variable shifts.
• Preferred certifications: HAZWOPPER, TENORM, H2S, Confined Space and Rescue, First Aid.
• OSHA 10 required within 30 days of hire.
• Assist crew members as needed, which may include manual labor outside your ticketed trade.
• Class A CDL preferred; Class B CDL acceptable.
• May work around hazardous materials.
• Hydrovac experience preferred.
• Set up and inspect grounding/bonding procedures for hydrovac operations.
• Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
• Must pass pre-employment background and drug screening.
• Driver's License required.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time.
