Position Summary
Responsible for the successful completion of hydro excavation projects including utility line exposure, debris removal, slot trenching, and digging.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Qualifications
- Work outdoors, possibly in extreme climates
- Operate hydrovac trucks and equipment safely, ensuring they are in good working condition
- Perform pre- and post-inspections and routine maintenance
- Ability to sit, lift, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach, and crawl repeatedly
- Capable of working extended hours and variable shifts
- Preferred certifications: HAZWOPER, TENORM, H2S, Confined Space and Rescue, First Aid
- OSHA 10 required within 30 days of hire
- Assist crew members as needed, including manual labor beyond your ticketed trade
- Class A CDL preferred; Class B acceptable
- Work around hazardous materials
- Experience with hydrovac operations preferred
- Set up and inspect grounding/bonding procedures for hydrovac operation
- Wear PPE as required
- Pass pre-employment background and drug screening
- Driver's license required
- Complete and submit all required paperwork timely
