Position Summary

Responsible for the successful completion of hydro excavation projects including utility line exposure, debris removal, slot trenching, and digging.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Qualifications

• Work outdoors, possibly in extreme climates
• Operate hydrovac trucks and equipment safely, ensuring they are in good working condition
• Perform pre- and post-inspections and routine maintenance
• Ability to sit, lift, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach, and crawl repeatedly
• Capable of working extended hours and variable shifts
• Preferred certifications: HAZWOPER, TENORM, H2S, Confined Space and Rescue, First Aid
• OSHA 10 required within 30 days of hire
• Assist crew members as needed, including manual labor beyond your ticketed trade
• Class A CDL preferred; Class B acceptable
• Work around hazardous materials
• Experience with hydrovac operations preferred
• Set up and inspect grounding/bonding procedures for hydrovac operation
• Wear PPE as required
• Pass pre-employment background and drug screening
• Driver's license required
• Complete and submit all required paperwork timely
