Position Summary
Responsible for the successful completion of hydro excavation projects including: utility line exposure, debris removal, slot trenching and digging.
Qualifications
- Work outdoors – perhaps in some extreme climates
- Operate hydrovac trucks and equipment in a safe and professional manner, ensuring they are in good working condition
- Perform pre- and post-inspections as well as routine maintenance
- Must be able to sit, lift, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach and crawl repetitively
- Must be capable of working extended hours and variable shifts
- HAZWOPPER, TENORM, H2S, Confine Space, Rescue, First Aid; training preferred
- OSHA 10 certification required within 30 days of hire
- Assist fellow crew members wherever required (may entail manual labor and/or be outside your ticketed trade)
- Class A CDL preferred; Class B acceptable
- May work around some hazardous material
- Hydrovac experience preferred
- Set up and inspect grounding and/or bonding procedures for hydrovac operation
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required
- Must be able to pass pre‑employment background and drug screening
- Driver's License required
- Complete all required paperwork properly and submit on time
