Job description

Position Summary

Responsible for the successful completion of hydro excavation projects including: utility line exposure, debris removal, slot trenching and digging.

Qualifications

• Work outdoors – perhaps in some extreme climates
• Operate hydrovac trucks and equipment in a safe and professional manner, ensuring they are in good working condition
• Perform pre- and post-inspections as well as routine maintenance
• Must be able to sit, lift, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach and crawl repetitively
• Must be capable of working extended hours and variable shifts
• HAZWOPPER, TENORM, H2S, Confine Space, Rescue, First Aid; training preferred
• OSHA 10 certification required within 30 days of hire
• Assist fellow crew members wherever required (may entail manual labor and/or be outside your ticketed trade)
• Class A CDL preferred; Class B acceptable
• May work around some hazardous material
• Hydrovac experience preferred
• Set up and inspect grounding and/or bonding procedures for hydrovac operation
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required
• Must be able to pass pre‑employment background and drug screening
• Driver's License required
• Complete all required paperwork properly and submit on time
