Job summary

Monogram Appetizers in Wisconsin is seeking a Production Operator to run the blending line and prepare compounds for further processing.

You will set up equipment for startup and changeover, load ingredients into the hopper, monitor the mixer, adjust valves, and record ingredient usage and batch codes.

This role requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, wear PPE, adhere to safety practices, and work extended hours including weekends when production needs dictate.

• Ability to read and follow production instructions and batch codes.
• Strong attention to detail and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

Position Summary: Operates machine to blend ingredients into compounds for processing by performing the following duties.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Set up of equipment for startup and change overLoad ingredients into mixing machine hopper from palletsStart machine and adjust valves to admit water to mixing chamber to aid in blending and densifyingOperate machine until mixture reaches desired consistency, and turns lever to unload mixture onto production lineOperate auxiliary equipment to break up, grind, dry mix, or otherwise prepare mixture for final processingMonitor mixing machine by filling hoppers with ingredients periodically to ensure consistent flowAdjust equipment for efficient operations and product quality at all times; proper coating coverage; proper pick-up %Monitor waste reductionsRecord ingredient usage, lot codes, viscosity settings and temperature of batterWeighs and records waste at the end of production run.Record ingredient usage and lot codes and ensures that correct ingredients being used and correct amountsRecord downtime data and data for quality assurance and inventoryComplete preventive maintenance as neededEnsure all safety devices are operable and being usedWork with enthusiasm and sense of urgency dailyMaintain adherence to company policies, safety standards and good manufacturing practicesMust wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as providedMust follow all plant food safety and person safety rules and proceduresPerform other duties as required and directed“This role will require extended hours based on production needs, including work to be performed after regular business hours and on weekends.”Education, prior work experience and specialized skill and knowledge:Ability to understand and communicate effectively.
