Monogram Appetizers in Wisconsin seeks a dedicated production operator to support all machines in the facility and back up the Lead. You will assist with daily line setup, observe operations for malfunctions, report issues, and help keep packaging and coding accurate while maintaining safety standards.
The role involves assisting in start-ups and change-overs, recording data during relief shifts, and contributing to waste reduction and continuous improvements on the production line.
This position provides support on all machines within the specific production facility. Trained as a back-up Lead and supporting the Lead for success with both employees and production.
Education, prior work experience and specialized skill and knowledge:
Ability to understand and communicate effectively. Three to six months training and experience in operator positions. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands, fingers and arms to handle, feel and reach; climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and electrical powered equipment. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Baggers, Extruder, Carton former, Robotics, Wexxar, Tri-Sealer, Fryers Mixers, Printers, Case tapers, Raques, ABC, VCS and Breader(s), Frey, Schnell, V-mag lift, Ballers, Tote dumpers, Metal Detectors, Check Weighers, Motorized Pallet Jack and all other equipment related to the production line.
This role will require extended hours based on production needs, including work to be performed after regular business hours and on weekends.
