Job summary

Kemira is seeking a Production Operator in Fontana, CA to safely manage process operations, monitor tank levels, and troubleshoot equipment to ensure continuous production. This role emphasizes adherence to procedures, teamwork, and safe operation of industrial equipment.

We are looking for a Production Operator for the Industry & Water segment in Fontana, CA. This position performs work safely in accordance with established procedures; troubleshoots problems; performs lab analysis tasks; and ensures the proper operation of all equipment.

In this role you’ll be responsible for:

• Monitoring tank levels and process instrumentation
• Operating pumps, valves, filter presses, controls and other operating devices
• Loading finished goods,
• Connecting/disconnecting railroad cars
• Operating the fork trucks, skid steers and overhead cranes
• And any other duties as assigned

What you’ll bring to the team:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical school or process operations coursework preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in chemical plant operations, industrial manufacturing, or similar environment.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
• Experience working with little supervision.
• Experience with MS office applications including word, excel, power point and outlook.

The hourly rate for consideration for this position is$28.06per hourwith opportunities for performance-based bonuses. We also offer acomprehensive benefits package which includes health insurance, paid time off, life/disability insurance and a 401k retirement plan (which includes a company match).
