Aspire Bakeries is hiring an Operator 3, Bakery-Break Relief for the 3rd shift at the Cayce, SC Bakery. You will operate packaging equipment, ensure product quality, and support safe, efficient production.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions.
• Strong communication and observational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a high-performing team.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform standing, walking, bending, and repetitive movements.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated packaging equipment to ensure efficient and accurate product packaging.
• Monitor product quality and food safety standards throughout the packaging process.
• Adjust and troubleshoot equipment to maintain operational performance and product specifications.
• Maintain equipment settings, supplies, and basic preventative maintenance activities.
• Ensure GMPs, food safety, and workplace safety requirements are followed.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and support sanitation standards.
• Communicate production, quality, maintenance, safety, and hygiene concerns to the appropriate personnel.

About the Role

We are seeking an Operator 3, Bakery-Break Relief - 3rd Shift to join our team at our Cayce, SC Bakery. As an Operator 3, Bakery-Break Relief - 3rd Shift you will be accountable for operating packaging equipment, maintaining product quality standards, and supporting safe and efficient production operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring bakery products are accurately packaged, food safety requirements are met, and production goals are achieved.

Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)

• Operate automated packaging equipment to ensure efficient and accurate product packaging.
• Monitor product quality and food safety standards throughout the packaging process.
• Adjust and troubleshoot equipment to maintain operational performance and product specifications.
• Maintain equipment settings, supplies, and basic preventative maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety, and workplace safety requirements.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and support sanitation standards.
