Job summary

Aspire Bakeries LLC in Cayce, SC is seeking an Operator 3, Bakery Production to operate and adjust automated production and packaging equipment, ensuring products meet quality standards and reliable production flow.

You will maintain GMP/compliance, document production, troubleshoot issues, and rotate across bakery areas to support staffing and efficiency. Shift is 1st, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, weekend availability is required. Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience and strong teamwork are expected.

Responsibilities

• Operate, adjust, and monitor production and packaging equipment to ensure quality.
• Maintain production documentation and support line performance.
• Set up, start, stop, and change over equipment per schedules and recipes.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas following GMP and food safety standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment and product issues and escalate as needed to reduce downtime.
• Rotate across production and packaging areas to support staffing needs.
• Collaborate with team to meet production targets and drive improvement.

About the Role

We are seeking an Operator 3, Bakery‑ Production to join our team at our Cayce, SC bakery. As an Operator 3, you will be accountable for operating and adjusting automated production and packaging equipment, ensuring products meet Aspire Bakeries’ quality standards, and supporting efficient production flow across multiple areas of the bakery. This role is vital to maintaining equipment performance, food safety, and overall production reliability.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 1st
• Hours: 6 AM - 2:30 PM
• Weekend availability: Required

Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)

• Operate, adjust, and monitor production and packaging equipment to ensure food meets quality specifications
• Maintain accurate production documentation and support efficient line performance
• Set up, start, stop, and change over equipment in alignment with production schedules and recipes
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas while following all GMP and foodsafety standards
• Troubleshoot equipment and product issues, escalating concerns as needed to reduce downtime
• Rotate across production and packaging areas as needed to support staffing and business needs
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and support continuous improvement
