Avantor is hiring a Dry Department Operator to perform manufacturing activities by following defined procedures and safety standards. You will assemble mechanical units and sub-assemblies, use hand and power tools, monitor quality, and ensure compliance with cgmp guidelines in a high‑paced environment.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of mechanical or manufacturing experience. You will work Monday-Thursday 6 am–4:30 pm with occasional overtime and collaborate with

Tasks include assembling mechanical units or fabricated parts to make sub-assemblies or complete products, and/or using various hand and power tools and operating equipment which may include jigs, dies, fixtures, templates, punch presses, riveting machines, circular shears, and drill presses to cut, file, fit, punch, ream, rivet, form, and/or assemble. Fits, aligns, calibrates, and adjusts parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product requirements. Monitors quality of products and raw materials. Communicates with colleagues within manufacturing to exchange information, providing explanations or interpretations as necessary to maintain alignment and efficiency. Ensures compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and operational guidelines to support seamless manufacturing processes.
