Job summary

Monroechamber in Northwood, IA is seeking an Operator to join our plastics production team. The position offers a 2nd shift from 3:00pm to 1:00am, Monday through Thursday, with starting pay at $18.50 per hour.

You will rotate through multiple departments, follow job orders, prepare and package products, and document work as trained. We value reliability, safety, and opportunities for long-term growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Proven work history with prior experience of solid employment within a production setting; include detailed experience on resume
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to read and interpret documents and perform basic math operations, including measurement reading
• Ability to perform physical tasks including prolonged standing, repetitive bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds, with team lifts for heavier loads
• Ability to work in a hot environment, maintaining safety and productivity throughout 8 to 12-hour shifts

• Operate, load and maintain band saw, waterjet, CNC, and forming machines after proper training
• Accurately complete required documentation for each job
