Job summary

QPS Employment Group is hiring a Machine Operator in Perryville, MO. This is a 2nd shift role, 3:00pm–11:00pm, Monday–Friday with Saturday as needed, offering $16.80/hour.

We’re seeking dependable, motivated individuals to build a stable career with a growing plastics manufacturer. You will operate machines, inspect products for defects, perform related operations, fill out job check sheets, and assist in other plastics department tasks.

Qualifications

• Ability to work, stand, sit, kneel, or squat for up to 8 hours daily.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly.
• Ability to bend and twist 75% of shift.
• Ability to use knives, clippers, etc.
• Ability to work as a team player.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines to produce product
• Inspect product for flaws
• Perform secondary operations to parts if necessary
• Fill out all check sheets that pertain to the job that is being ran
• Grind runner and scrap parts
• Assist in any necessary operation in the plastics department, trimming excess plastic with box knife
• Package finished product and complete custom/private label assembly and packaging.

Machine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Operate machines to produce product


• Inspect product for flaws


• Perform secondary operations to parts if necessary


• Fill out all check sheets that pertain to the job that is being ran


• Grind runner and scrap parts


• Assist in any necessary operation in the plastics department, trimming excess plastic with box knife


• Package finished product and complete custom/private label assembly and packaging, which could include one or more of the following operations: assembling multi-packs, capping, shrink wrapping, labeling, boxing, and sorting


• Keep work area clean

Machine Operator Requirements:
