Job summary

Monroechamber in Perry, MO is hiring a 2nd shift Machine Operator for our growing plastics manufacturing team. The role runs Monday to Friday, with Saturday as needed, from 3:00pm to 11:00pm, and offers a stable hourly wage of $16.80.

You will operate machines, inspect products for flaws, perform secondary operations, and keep the work area clean. We value dependability, teamwork, and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, sit, kneel, or squat for up to 8 hours daily.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly.
• Ability to bend and twist 75% of shift.
• Ability to use knives, clippers, etc.
• Ability to work as a team player.

Responsibilities

• Grind runner and scrap parts
• Assist in any necessary operation in the plastics department, trimming excess plastic with box knife

• Grind runner and scrap parts
• Assist in any necessary operation in the plastics department, trimming excess plastic with box knife
• Package finished product and complete custom/private label assembly and packaging, which could include one or more of the following operations: assembling multi-packs, capping, shrink wrapping, labeling, boxing, and sorting
• Keep work area clean
