Monroechamber in Rogersville, MO is seeking a hands-on Operator to join our manufacturing team. This associate-to-hire position offers 1st and 3rd shift options and hourly pay between $18.50 and $20.00, with safety, quality, and teamwork at its core.

You will read work orders, inspect products, operate forklifts when trained, document data, and help keep a clean, safe production area. Prior manufacturing experience and reliable attendance are required.

Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing or production experience required.
  • Operator experience in a manufacturing environment required.
  • Forklift experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
  • Ability to accurately complete production documentation and follow work instructions.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Must demonstrate safety awareness and follow all safety procedures consistently.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality required.
  • Provide proper notice for absences or tardiness whenever possible.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time throughout the shift.
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, and twisting during production activities.
  • Occasionally lift 50-70 pounds independently
  • Occasionally participate in team lifts exceeding 70 pounds
  • Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to safely work around moving machinery, production equipment, and industrial materials
  • Work in a manufacturing plant with exposure to noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures
  • Maintain high standards of safety, quality, teamwork, and professionalism at all times
  • Must have 9 months or more in previous work history

Responsibilities

  • Grind scrap product material as required during production operations
  • Read and interpret Work Order Travelers (WOTs) to verify product specifications, including product type, tape, color, size, print requirements, and reel specifications
  • Tie off, band, test, and tag finished reels according to company procedures and move completed products to designated holding areas
  • Perform on-line quality checks to verify product dimensions and appearance meet required tolerances and customer specifications
  • Accurately document product dimensions, production data, and operating conditions in a neat and timely manner
  • Operate forklift to move materials, finished products, and production-related materials throughout the warehouse and production areas when trained and authorized to do so
  • Immediately report defects, quality concerns, or specification changes to the Shift Supervisor or Lead
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while adhering to housekeeping standards
  • Follow and promote all company safety and quality policies and procedures
  • Wear all required PPE at all times while on the production floor
