Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is seeking a Manager in Operations Group/Transformation Services to lead PEPI engagements in the Nashville area. The role focuses on cost reduction, organizational restructuring, and delivering value to private equity-backed firms.

The position requires 7–10 years of consulting experience, an MBA preferred, and experience working with PE relationships. A&M offers comprehensive benefits and a performance-driven culture.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of professional experience implementing cost reduction programs, organizational restructuring, and/or cost structure improvements.
• Industry vertical depth (e.g., industrial, business services, distribution, consumer products and retail) is a plus.
• MBA from a top-tier school highly preferred.
• Experience with PE relationships and working in both professional services and industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver large, complex client engagements for Private Equity leadership.
• Identify opportunities to reduce cost structures by reorganizing leadership, staffing, and back-office efficiency.
• Synthesize data and insights to enhance EBITDA and operating performance.
• Implement cost-reduction programs and workforce changes with supporting processes.
• Develop findings and strategic recommendations for portfolio companies.
• Hands-on project work across margin management, S&OP, sourcing and global supply chain, organization design, and cost efficiency.
