Description

The Role

The Operations Transformation Intern will support strategic improvement initiatives focused on increasing efficiency, scalability, and service quality across our operations. This internship offers hands-on exposure to how operational challenges are translated into data-driven process improvements, automation opportunities, workflow redesign, and performance optimization projects.

Working cross-functionally with Plant Operations, Transportation, Planning, and Customer Experience teams, the intern will help drive high-impact transformation initiatives that improve business performance and enhance the customer experience.

What You'll Do

• Support ongoing operational improvement and transformation projects across the organization.
• Document current-state workflows and identify process gaps, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies.
• Analyze operational KPIs and performance metrics to uncover opportunities for improvement.
• Assist with root cause analyses of recurring operational challenges and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Measure and evaluate the impact of transformation initiatives through before-and-after performance analysis.
• Partner with Plant Operations, Transportation, Planning, and Customer Experience teams to support project execution and implementation.
• Create project updates, dashboards, and leadership-ready presentations to communicate progress and results.

What You'll Bring

• Currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Interest in process improvement, project management, operations strategy, and business transformation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across teams.
• Experience with Power BI, SQL, process mapping tools, or related technologies is a plus.
