Job summary

Goldbelt, Inc. is seeking an Operations Training Specialist in Fairfield, CA to update GTIMS and related systems, manage training records, and coordinate class schedules and exams.

The role supports aircrew and ground training in line with AF instructions, working closely with DOT Flight Chief and squadron personnel to ensure readiness. Responsibilities include daily grade checks, curriculum development support, and reporting to leadership.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in scheduling software and systems with strong MS Office skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with crew members and internal teams.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
• Ability to think critically and make decisions quickly, especially in time-sensitive situations.

Responsibilities

• Interface with HARM and SARM personnel to update ARMS or future equivalents.
• Build, review, and update student/permanent records and grade books.
• Coordinate schedule of classes and exams with external agencies to ensure training requirements are met.
• Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly gradebook checks for training requirements.
• Prepare and execute periodic training/testing plans for approval and scheduling.
• Schedule members for required ground training events per unit policies.
• Provide weekly updates to squadron leadership on flight readiness and status.
• Coordinate with scheduling to maximize training opportunities in line with AFIs.
• Provide daily tracking of upgrade and continuation training, with weekly summaries for leadership.
• Assist in development of new curriculum and syllabi for aircrew and ground training.
• Generate required reports/forms.
