Job summary

LightEdge Solutions is seeking a Manager of Operations Training to lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of training programs for IT operations teams. You will own onboarding, ongoing education, documentation, LMS administration, and the development of consistent training practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering technical training for IT operations, infrastructure, engineering, or comparable teams.
• Experience leading, coaching, or managing trainers, writers, instructional designers, or learning professionals.
• Experience establishing team goals, managing workloads, and developing employees.
• Experience with instructional design, needs analysis, and learning evaluation.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, writing, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to explain complex processes clearly to varied audiences.
• Experience creating and maintaining technical docs, videos, curricula, or guides.
• Experience administering and maintaining an LMS with course setup, enrollments, reporting, and paths.
• Knowledge management, workflow, project management, or learning platforms experience.
• Demonstrated operations experience and problem-resolution capability.
• Experience using generative AI tools for training content with human review.

Responsibilities

• Own onboarding and continuing-education programs for Operations teams from needs analysis through evaluation.
• Design and facilitate technical training, workshops, refresher courses, and hands-on learning.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and curricula, including knowledgebase articles and videos.
• Assess skill gaps and develop targeted training plans and career resources.
• Build standardized training frameworks, learning paths, assessments and qualification programs.
• Maintain a consistent training experience across teams, locations, and schedules.
• Administer and maintain the LMS including courses, enrollments, reporting, and content publishing.
• Lead Technical Trainers and Technical Writers; coach and develop team members.
• Partner with stakeholders to align training with process changes and tech updates.
• Track training completion and measure program effectiveness.
• Use AI tools responsibly for content creation with human review.
