Job summary

ASR Group in Baltimore, MD is seeking an experienced Operations Training Manager to lead a team of three trainers and drive the site’s technical and operational training program. You will collaborate with production managers to design, deploy, and assess training, leveraging Lean tools to standardize work and improve performance.

You will bring 5+ years in manufacturing/food environments, 2+ years of supervisory experience, and solid knowledge of adult learning theory and training methods.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in food processing, packaging or maintenance.
• At least 4 years in Learning and Development.
• 2+ years of Manufacturing Supervisory/Leadership experience.
• Working knowledge of training methods and adult learning theory.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of three Operations Trainers and oversee training initiatives.
• Partner with Operational Managers to design and evaluate refinery training programs.
• Develop standardized work instructions and multi-format training materials.
• Deliver Train the Trainer courses and coach operators and job coaches.
• Maintain skill matrices, recertification timelines, and training KPIs.
